Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. Her most well-known role is for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other notable roles include playing the title role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin started her acting career when she was just seven. She was a niece of her aunt who worked as the nanny for Michael Landon's children helped her land one small part on the TV show Father Murphy. After her graduation from Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land significant roles both on the smaller and big screen. Martin was also a photographer and a dancer. Martin is also a mother of two children and is the spokesperson of Lupus. After her 19 year old sister's passing Martin has been working to educate people about the disease.
